Different Days and a Halloween Heart
After locking up my bike downstairs I came up to my classroom, filled my mug with some hot coffee from the pot, sat down and started going through the class schedule. I gotta say, life now sure is different than it was a year ago.
Not a bad thing at all. Change is good when you’re unhappy. Any kind of change; it’s better than staying still. Consistency is good when you got what you need.
I came to work early, found some time and I figured I’d post a little something for all you people hungry for excerpts from my life (sarcasm). Life is great these days. Simple. Got money for food, got a bike (just two days ago) for transportation. Jacob and I found an awesome bar and made friends with the people working there. Maru, Eric, and Mari! Can’t forget YaeEun, the blanket girl! (I realize this means nothing to you guys, but if you come up to Nowon sometime, you’ll see). I don’t have plans for Halloween yet but I’m starting to get into the Halloween spirit. I was thinking about it this week and what I really like about Halloween is that it, more than any other holiday (yes even a little more than Christmas), brings back the feeling of being a kid again. All the Halloween specials on TV, the Halloween music. Even some things that aren’t even related to the holiday like staying up late and playing video games. [Had to step out for a meeting] So I just got back from a quick morning meeting and totally lost my train of thought. Damn. Well, until next time, cheers.
